Hyundai’s Ioniq 6 N made its North American debut on Thursday at the LA Auto Show, with the company confirming the electric sports sedan will be sold in limited quantities in the United States.
The Ioniq 6 N is Hyundai’s first fully electric sports car and the second EV to receive the company’s N performance designation after the Ioniq 5. Hyundai first unveiled the model at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July and launched it in South Korea last month.

Powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, the vehicle produces up to 641 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque, enabling a 0–60 mph time of 3.2 seconds when N Grin Boost and N Launch Control are engaged.
Hyundai said the N-specific features optimize power delivery and traction, while systems such as N e-Shift and N Active Sound+ simulate gear shifts and combustion-engine acoustics. Additional tools, including N Track Manager and N Drift Optimizer, support track-focused driving.

The interior features Hyundai’s latest ccNC infotainment software along with dual 12.3-inch driver and navigation displays, as well as N-specific design elements. The vehicle measures 194.3 inches long, 76.4 inches wide and 58.9 inches tall, with a 116.7-inch wheelbase.
The Ioniq 6 N uses an upgraded 84-kWh battery that can charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 18 minutes using a 350-kW fast charger. Range and U.S. pricing will be announced at a later media event. In South Korea, the model is rated at 291 miles (469 km) under the WLTP cycle.

Hyundai said the Ioniq 6 N will reach U.S. dealerships in 2026. The current highest-priced Ioniq 6 Limited trim starts at US$51,100, and industry estimates suggest the N variant may start between US$65,000 and US$70,000.
Alongside the debut, Hyundai introduced a lineup of N Performance Parts for its N-badged vehicles in the U.S., including the Ioniq 5 N and Elantra N.
