South Korean auto giant Hyundai Motor Group said it had received its first-ever ‘Luminary’ honor at Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2022 with its Trailer Drone fully autonomous hydrogen mobility concept.

In its press release, Hyundai stated that the hydrogen-powered autonomous drone trailer beat all its competitors to win this year’s Red Dot Design Concept award.

This drone trailer is fully autonomous without the need for human intervention in its operations.

In the Red Dot Concept award, the Luminary is the highest-level award given to an advanced model in terms of design.

The Hyundai Trailer Drone has a range of over 1,000 kilometers on a single charge, and can be used for cargo delivery, construction, firefighting, and rescue operations.
