Hyundai Motor UK has opened order books for the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N in the UK, pricing the high-performance electric sedan at £65,800 in a single, fully loaded specification.
Built on Hyundai’s E-GMP electric platform, the all-wheel-drive Ioniq 6 N produces up to 650 PS and 770 Nm of torque when N Grin Boost is engaged. With N Launch Control activated, the model accelerates from 0–62 mph in 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 160 mph.
Powertrain and Performance
The Ioniq 6 N uses a dual-motor setup, with a high-output rear motor acting as the primary drive unit and a secondary motor at the front axle. Power is supplied by an 84 kWh lithium-ion battery, delivering a combined system output of 535 kW. An electronic limited-slip differential manages rear-axle torque, while standard N performance software includes N Torque Distribution, N Launch Control and a configurable N Drift Optimizer with preset circuit maps.
Hyundai has also upgraded its N e-Shift system with shorter virtual gear ratios and enhanced N Active Sound+ hardware, aimed at increasing driver engagement.
Chassis and Suspension
Engineers revised the suspension geometry to lower the roll centre, improving stability during high-speed cornering. Stroke-sensing electronically controlled suspension dampers are fitted as standard, alongside revised bushings designed to balance handling precision and ride comfort.
Braking is handled by 400 mm ventilated front discs with four-piston monobloc calipers and 360 mm ventilated rear discs. The car rides on 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels wrapped in 275/35R20 Pirelli P Zero tyres.
Charging and Range
The Ioniq 6 N supports both 800-volt and 400-volt charging architectures. When connected to a 350 kW DC fast charger, the battery can be replenished from 10% to 80% in around 18 minutes. A 10.5 kW three-phase onboard charger allows a full charge in 7 hours 35 minutes using a compatible home wallbox.
Official range is rated at up to 302 miles. Standard features include battery pre-conditioning, a heat pump, and Plug & Charge functionality via Hyundai’s Charge myHyundai service.
Interior and Technology
Inside, the performance-focused cabin includes Alcantara and leather bucket seats, a heated N Performance steering wheel with haptic feedback, aluminium pedals and configurable ambient lighting that synchronises with the N e-Shift system.
Technology features include dual 12.3-inch displays for infotainment and instrumentation, an augmented-reality head-up display, BOSE eight-speaker premium audio and Hyundai’s CcNC software platform with over-the-air updates. Bluelink connected services are included for three years.
Pricing and Availability
The Ioniq 6 N is offered in one UK specification at £65,800 on-the-road (£65,010 P11D). Six exterior colours are available, including Serenity White Pearl at no extra cost, while matte finishes and the optional Vision Roof carry additional charges.
Hyundai said the UK launch marks the latest expansion of its N performance sub-brand into battery-electric vehicles, complementing the existing Ioniq 5 N in its domestic lineup.
