A company representative highlighted that the ST1 platform serves as ā€œa business platform with a variety of expansion possibilities,ā€ indicating its adaptability for different applications beyond delivery and logistics.

The ST1 Chassis Cab stands out as Hyundai’s inaugural small commercial electric work truck. The design allows for the removal of the back, making it suitable for various business uses. It is powered by a 76.1 kWh battery, enabling a driving range of up to 203 miles (327 km) on a single charge. The truck measures 5,465 mm in length, 2,015 mm in width, and 2,005 mm in height. The starting price of the ST1 Chassis Cab is around $42,000, excluding any incentives.

Additionally, the ST1 Special High-Top model has been introduced to offer increased loading capacity for logistics and delivery needs. This model starts at approximately $43,000 (57.4 million won) and provides a driving range of up to 180 miles (289 km). Both models feature rapid charging capabilities, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes.

To enhance the utility of its electric work vehicles, Hyundai has equipped them with cloud-based navigation systems. These systems provide real-time information, including the locations of nearby EV charging stations.

Once a charging site is selected, the system displays the battery level and the estimated driving distance to the charger, further supporting efficient operations for businesses utilizing these electric work trucks.
