Hyundai has finally started deliver Hyundai Ioniq 5 to their consumers in the American market. Hyundai previously promised to deliver newest Ioniq 5 unit before closing in 2021.
The lucky first buyer of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 is Yaron Alfi on the West Coast, Los Angeles, California
Yaron admits that he really likes electric vehicles. “The Ioniq 5 is the perfect vehicle for my growing family. The cabin is spacious and offers much needed space for my young children,” said Yaron Alfi.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is a compact crossover style car with an 800 volt battery and has a range of up to 466 km.

The electric motor used has a power of 215 hp in the 2-wheel drive variant. As for the 4-wheel drive variant, its power reaches 315 hp.
It only takes 18 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 80%. Then, if you want to cover a distance of 100 km, you only need to charge for 5 minutes according to WLTP with the 350 Kw fast charging method.
For the American market, the Ioniq 5 is marketed with 3 models, namely Ioniq 5 Limited, Ioniq 5 SEL, and Ioniq 5 SE.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is available in 7 color options, namely: Black Phantom (Pearl), Cyber Gray (Metallic), Atlas White (Solid), Digital Teal (Green Pearl), Lucid Blue (Pearl), and Shooting Star (Gray Matte). ).
Meanwhile, the interior has three color choices, namely: Obsidian Black Monotone, Dark Pebble Gray/Dove Gray, and Dark Teal/Dove Gray.
For the American market, the Ioniq 5 is sold at a price ranging from US$39,700 to US$54,500.
