Hubject and Ampeco Forge Strategic Partnership in Global EV Charging Management

Hubject, a leader in EV charging networks, and Ampeco, a provider of EV charging management software, have announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing charging infrastructure management worldwide.

Under this collaboration, Charging Point Operators (CPOs) and e-Mobility Service Providers (EMPs) can now access Hubject’s extensive networks and Ampeco’s comprehensive charging management services through a single contract.

Ampeco positions its solution as a hardware-independent system for efficiently managing charging infrastructure, particularly targeting customers across North America. Earlier this year, Ampeco secured substantial investment from BMW and BMW i Ventures to accelerate its expansion efforts in North America and Europe.

The partnership with Hubject aligns closely with Ampeco’s expansion strategy. According to Hubject, EV charging providers utilizing the Ampeco platform can seamlessly integrate Plug&Charge-compatible hardware, benefiting from Hubject’s robust roaming services while maintaining their brand visibility within Hubject’s ecosystem.

Hubject CEO Christian Hahn remarked, “The partnership between Hubject and Ampeco extends the level and breadth of services and opportunities for CPOs globally.” Stefan Ivanov, Chief Revenue Officer of Ampeco, emphasized, “Our collaboration with Hubject enhances the offerings of our platforms, providing significant advantages to large-scale EV charging providers.”

This partnership marks a significant step towards enhancing global EV infrastructure, leveraging the combined strengths of Hubject’s intercharge and Plug&Charge platforms with Ampeco’s advanced management solutions.
