Stelato, the automotive brand jointly developed by Huawei and Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC Group), has released a preview of the S9T wagon, marking the second vehicle in its product lineup. The model was unveiled through images shared by Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) on social media.
The S9T wagon, which follows the Stelato S9 executive sedan launched in August 2024, features a new green exterior color and redesigned taillights, according to the post.

It is expected to share design and platform elements with the S9 sedan, which has a length of 5,160 mm, width of 1,987 mm, height of 1,486 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,050 mm.
In a statement at a July 8 event, Huawei consumer business chairman Richard Yu said the wagon would launch this fall. “The vehicle has a very spacious interior and excellent handling, making it suitable for both family use and camping,” Yu said.

Yu also indicated that, like the S9 sedan, the S9T would be available in both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) configurations. He added that the vehicle will offer “very long” pure electric and combined ranges when fully charged and fueled.
Stelato is one of five automotive brands operating under the HIMA platform, alongside Aito (Seres), Luxeed (Chery), Maextro (JAC), and Shangjie (SAIC).

While wagon-type vehicles remain a niche segment in the Chinese market—where sedans and SUVs dominate—Stelato is aiming to expand its presence in the premium vehicle category with differentiated offerings.
