The 2021 Guangzhou Auto Show is an event that will surprise Honda fans. At the exhibition, Honda introduced one of its concept cars, the Honda e:N SUV, which had a design that was out of the way of Honda.
This car has a pretty wild design with firm lines and angular patterns. You could say that if the H on the grille was removed, you wouldn't recognize it as a Honda.
Currently its status is a concept car that has the possibility to be continued into the production line or only used as a mere study.
However, if the first possibility is to continue, then we must understand that in the future this concept car will undergo adjustments on its way to the assembly line. But still, the appearance of this e:N is the wildest design from Honda today.
Motor1 reports that this will most likely not be a global model and will be more dedicated to the Chinese market.
Previously, Honda revealed that this fully electric car is part of the e:N Series which consists of the e:N GT, e:N Coupe and of course the e:N SUV will enter the Chinese market in the next five years.
It is quite reasonable if Honda plans to sell it in China because this Bamboo Curtain country is the largest user of electric cars in the world. In addition, the market in China is known to be quite open and flexible to accept new things.
This electric vehicle (EV) will be made by a joint venture of Dongfeng Honda and local GAC Honda and sold specifically for the Chinese market by involving a network of 1,200 dealers.
There are reports that some of the e:N models developed and manufactured in China will be exported, but it's too early to say whether this wild SUV will be one of them.
