Honda and its luxury brand Acura will grant their electric vehicle (EV) owners access to Tesla’s Supercharger network in North America starting in June, the company announced.
Owners of the Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX, which are equipped with CCS (Combined Charging System) ports rather than Tesla’s proprietary technology, will need to purchase Honda-approved fast-charging adapters through dealerships. Pricing details for the adapters have not yet been disclosed.

Honda stated that customers will receive notifications via the HondaLink and Acura EV apps once the adapters become available for purchase. The apps will also provide information on authorized Supercharger locations.
The Japanese automaker had previously committed to adopting Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) in 2023, originally planning to release its first NACS-compatible EV in 2025. However, Honda now says that timeline has shifted, with the Acura RSX set to be the first model to feature an integrated NACS port when it launches in 2026. This will be followed by Honda’s 0 Series models, introduced at CES 2025.
