GreenLine Mobility Solutions has partnered with Dabur India to deploy liquefied natural gas (LNG)-powered heavy commercial trucks across the consumer goods company’s road logistics network as part of efforts to reduce supply chain emissions.
LNG Trucks to Support Lower-Emission Logistics
The agreement forms part of Dabur India’s broader sustainability strategy, with LNG-powered trucks expected to replace conventional diesel vehicles on selected freight routes.
GreenLine Mobility Solutions, an Essar venture, operates a fleet of more than 1,000 LNG- and electric-powered heavy commercial vehicles across India’s major freight corridors.
The company serves customers in sectors including steel, cement, mining, consumer goods and chemicals.
According to GreenLine, its fleet has collectively travelled more than 100 million kilometres while helping customers reduce over 27,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions.
Supporting Corporate Decarbonization Goals
Charles Devlin D’Costa, Vice President of Sales at GreenLine Mobility Solutions, said the partnership reflects increasing interest among Indian businesses in adopting lower-emission freight solutions.

He added that the company remains focused on supporting businesses across multiple industries as they transition toward cleaner transportation solutions.
Part of Dabur’s Sustainability Strategy
Samrat Sehgal, Global Director of Supply Chain at Dabur India, said lowering emissions throughout the company’s logistics operations is a key component of its long-term sustainability plans.

He said the partnership with GreenLine enables the company to integrate lower-emission transportation into its logistics network while maintaining operational efficiency and service reliability.

The collaboration reflects a broader trend across India’s logistics sector, where companies are increasingly incorporating alternative-fuel heavy commercial vehicles into freight operations to reduce transport-related emissions while supporting corporate environmental objectives.
