Genesis has officially launched the updated Electrified GV70 in Korea, debuting with a price tag of 75.2 million won (approximately $51,700), inclusive of EV tax benefits. The refreshed midsize luxury electric SUV boasts significant upgrades, including a larger battery for extended range, luxurious interior enhancements, and refined styling.
Building on its initial launch in March 2022, the new Electrified GV70 now features a redesigned crest grille with a Gradient G-Matrix pattern, updated 20-inch matte dark gray wheels, and new Micro Lens Array (MLA) headlights. The exterior upgrades enhance the vehicle’s sporty yet sophisticated aesthetic.
Inside, the cabin showcases Genesis’ new 27-inch connected car Integrated Cockpit (ccIC) display, a touchscreen HVAC panel, and exclusive features like “Milky Way Pattern Mood Lighting” and a crystal electronic shift dial.
Under the hood, the fourth-generation battery pack boosts the range to 423 km (263 miles) with an 84 kWh capacity, up from 400 km (249 miles) in the previous model. With a 350 kW fast charger, the GV70 can recharge to 80% in just 19 minutes. New driving technologies, such as Highway Body Motion Control and enhanced rear suspension with hydro bushing, further improve ride comfort and handling.
For US buyers, the 2025 Electrified GV70 starts at $66,950 with a range of 236 miles. The updated 2026 model, revealed at the LA Auto Show in November, is expected to offer over 250 miles of range and will include an NACS port for Tesla Supercharger compatibility. Deliveries in the US are slated for the first half of 2025.
