The 2025 Genesis Electrified GV70 has been awarded Best Luxury Car of 2025 by Cars.com, marking the second consecutive year the electric SUV has received the honor. The accolade highlights the vehicle’s balance of premium features, performance, and advanced technology.

The award, open to all 2025 luxury models, was determined by Cars.com’s editorial team based on criteria including drivability, usability, and design. “The Electrified GV70’s luxurious interior, powerful electric drivetrain, and fast-charging capability set it apart,” said Mike Hanley, Senior Road Test Editor at Cars.com.

Genesis North America COO Tedros Mengiste emphasized the brand’s dedication to enhancing the luxury EV market. “This recognition reflects our commitment to crafting vehicles that elevate the driving experience,” he said.

The Electrified GV70, Genesis’s first U.S.-assembled electric model, launched in early 2023 and has become the brand’s top-selling EV. Production takes place at Genesis’s Montgomery, Alabama, plant, with availability in multiple U.S. states.

The upcoming 2026 model is set to introduce an 84 kWh high-capacity battery for extended range and support for the North American Charging Standard (NACS). It will be available at select Genesis retailers later this year.
