Geely Auto’s Geely Galaxy sub-brand on Wednesday began pre-sales of its V900 extended-range multi-purpose vehicle, marking the first model in its new V series and positioning it against rivals including BYD’s Denza D9.
Geely Galaxy is offering three all-wheel-drive variants during the pre-sales phase — Pro, Max and a Collector’s Edition — priced at 319,800 yuan ($45,730), 349,800 yuan and 389,800 yuan respectively. The V900 is a six-seat MPV measuring 5,360 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width and 1,940 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,200 mm.

The model uses a 1.5-litre engine as a range extender, delivering a maximum output of 120 kW, paired with dual electric motors. Geely said the vehicle can accelerate from zero to 100 km per hour in 6.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 190 km per hour.
Battery power is supplied by ternary lithium packs from CALB, with capacity options of 43.3 kWh and 50 kWh. The V900 offers a pure-electric CLTC range of either 220 km or 260 km, while its combined CLTC range reaches 1,180 km or 1,220 km with a full tank and fully charged battery.

The MPV supports fast charging, allowing the battery to be replenished from 30% to 80% in 24 minutes, according to the company.
The V900 is the extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) version of the L380 MPV developed by Geely’s London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC). The model made its public debut at the Guangzhou auto show in November 2025. The L380 was initially launched as a battery electric vehicle in June 2024.

Geely has been reshaping its MPV strategy under the Galaxy nameplate. On March 3, 2025, the automaker said Geely Galaxy would evolve from a product lineup into a standalone brand, incorporating LEVC as its premium MPV series. Days later, on March 10, Geely Galaxy introduced an updated version of the LEVC L380 with a starting price of 299,900 yuan.
The launch of the V900 underscores intensifying competition in China’s mid- to high-end MPV segment, where extended-range and plug-in hybrid models are increasingly used to address range concerns while maintaining electric driving capability.
