FreeWire Technologies announced that it will provide electric vehicle charging equipment and solutions integrated with Chevron stations.
The charging provision will include Chevron-owned stations as well as independently-owned retailer stations.
âOur charging stations help retail locations such as Chevron-branded stations to enhance their offerings to consumers,â said Arcady Sosinov, Founder and CEO of FreeWire in a press release shared on Twitter.
According to Sosinov, providing ultra-fast and convenient charging at traditional gas stations could help open up new customer relationships with EV drivers.
The FreeWire program will provide an integrated approach by combining a battery-integrated charger powered by brand/design energy management software and custom analytics.
âChevron believes the future of energy is lower carbon, and our program with FreeWire is another step in our journey to deliver all forms of energy to our customers,â said Jesse Love, manager of Chevron’s Retail Brand Experience.
Not only with FreeWire, Chevron is also committed to investing billions of dollars in low-carbon projects over the next 10 years.
FreeWire’s fully integrated Boost Charger will allow customers to get 200 miles of range in 15 minutes.
âWhen the world is shaking, traditional fuel makers are looking for turnkey, cost-effective solutions like ours. We are honored to be working with Chevron,” said Sasinov.
