Ford Motor has introduced the 2026 refresh of its E-Transit electric van, bringing updates aimed at improving technology, efficiency, and customization options for fleet and commercial users.
The 2026 E-Transit retains its 12-inch central infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while an eight-inch digital instrument cluster is now available. Standard safety equipment includes the Co-Pilot360 suite with features such as Post-Collision Braking, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Auto High-Beam Headlamps, lane-keeping assist, and Forward Collision Warning. Optional Co-Pilot360 2.0 adds Blind Spot Information System, Adaptive Cruise Control, and a 360-degree camera.
New configurations expand the van’s versatility. Chassis Cab and Cutaway models now offer a 156-inch wheelbase, and a fleet-exclusive Wild Green Metallic exterior color has been introduced. Ford also added a vapor injection heat pump as standard, improving energy efficiency in both hot and cold climates, while dual onboard chargers are offered as an option.
Battery and drivetrain specifications remain unchanged. The E-Transit is powered by an 89.9-kilowatt-hour battery driving a 266-horsepower (198-kilowatt) rear electric motor, supporting both AC and DC charging, with a maximum estimated range of 159 miles.
Pricing for the 2026 E-Transit has increased slightly. The Chassis Cab now starts at $50,145, up $1,850 from the previous model, while other variants start at $55,355, a $2,260 rise from last year.
