Ford has announced the release of the 2025 Mustang Mach-E, incorporating a range of new features, including a heat pump to enhance efficiency in colder weather, three fresh color options, and a Sport Appearance Package. The starting price for the latest model is set at $36,495, marking a $3,500 decrease from the 2024 model’s starting price of $39,995.
The inclusion of a heat pump is a key upgrade for the 2025 Mustang Mach-E, addressing a common concern among electric vehicle owners regarding range loss in low temperatures. This technology had previously been introduced in the Tesla Model Y.
Ford has taken customer feedback into account when designing the updated Mach-E, as noted by Donna Dickson, Chief Engineer for the model. She remarked, “We’ve built strong relationships with our customers over the last four years and continue to make upgrades based on their feedback. We’re dedicated to giving them the best version of Mustang Mach-E possible, and that means giving them features they have been asking for, like the new heat pump and more interior space up front.”
Significant enhancements in the 2025 Mustang Mach-E include:
- Sport Appearance Package: Featuring a redesigned front fascia, grille shield, and red Brembo-branded brake calipers, along with 19-inch monochromatic wheels.
- BlueCruise 1.5: The upgraded version of Ford’s hands-free driving technology now offers automatic lane changes, facilitating up to 45% of driver-initiated lane changes during typical driving scenarios.
- Enhanced Connectivity: The new Ford Connectivity Package introduces a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capable of supporting up to 10 devices, as well as in-car applications like YouTube and karaoke, and advanced navigation tools such as the EV Trip Planner.
The 2025 model also features three new colors: Molten Magenta Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Velocity Blue Metallic, and Desert Sand, in addition to new wheel designs.
