Ford has revealed the all-new E-Tourneo Custom – the next generation of its Tourneo portfolio of multi-activity vehicles and featuring a state-of-the-art all-electric powertrain.
The E-Tourneo Custom raises the bar in the multi-activity vehicle segment, combining a new platform designed for maximum versatility and comfort with a high-efficiency battery-electric drivetrain that can provide a driving range of up to 370 km.
This MPV type car is one of four new all-electric Ford Pro models launching in Europe in 2024, Ford targets both personal and business customers, offering spacious accommodation for up to eight passengers.
The new model introduces a full suite of premium features including track-mounted ultra-flexible rear seats, hands-free power side doors, B&O audio system, 2 digital key cards, panoramic glass roof and an innovative tilting steering wheel design.
Ford’s new flagship E-Tourneo van uses the same battery cell technology as the wildly popular F-150 Lightning truck with a 74 kWh usable battery and 160 kW electric motor.
With an onboard 11 kW three-phase AC charger, the Ford E-Tourneo can be fully charged in under eight hours or 15% to 80% in 41 minutes using a 125 kW DC fast charger.
In fact, the manufacturer claims in lab tests that the DC fast charger adds 38 km (23.6 mi) of range in five minutes.
For all your business and personal needs, this electric van offers a maximum towing capacity of 2,000 kg (4,409 lbs). The E-Tourneo can also power workstations, camping equipment, or anything else that requires off-grid electricity with Onboard Pro Power technology of up to 2.3 kW.
With tracked seating, users can easily move the chair to increase space or remove it completely for maximum comfort and versatility.
Drivers can choose from a wide selection of models, including Active, Sport or the long-range Titanium X. For the adventurous, the Ford E-Tourneo doubles as a mobile living and work space.
