After previously Maserati published a new photo of GranTurismo Folgore at the time of the announcement of Maserati’s collaboration with ROKiT Venturi Racing.
This time the GranTurismo Folgore appeared on the streets of Rome for the Rome E-Prix 2022. Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares drove a prototype car to the Eternal City Formula E circuit.
The GranTurismo Folgore is the first model in Maserati’s vehicle portfolio to adopt 100% electricity. The GranTurismo Folgore is made at the Mirafiori production center and will debut on the market in 2023.

The GranTurismo, which has been one of Maserati’s icons, promises a lostrik vehicle with a distinctive sound and cutting-edge technology, outstanding performance, comfort and elegance typical of the manufacturer with the trident logo.

Maserati is very serious about the era of electrification, therefore it has decided to participate in Formula E. Maserati is the first Italian brand to compete in the FIA āāFormula E World Championship.
Previously, Maserati announced it wants to convert all the car models it sells to electric versions and will only sell electric cars from 2030.
