Flexis, the electric vehicle joint venture created by Renault, Volvo and CMA CGM, said it has formed a partnership with charging management platform Ampeco to support depot charging operations for commercial fleets in Europe. The collaboration comes ahead of Flexis’ planned rollout of its first electric vans in 2026, alongside a software suite known as Flexis Interface.
Under the agreement, Ampeco’s backend system will be embedded within Flexis’ telematics, fleet management and charging oversight platform. Flexis said the integration will give fleet operators real-time visibility over charging events across multiple depot locations, including both AC overnight charging and DC fast-charging operations. The company added that Ampeco’s API-based and charger-agnostic architecture enables detailed monitoring of state of charge, energy use and charging status through a single interface.

Flexis said the combined platform is intended to address one of the main bottlenecks for logistics operators switching to battery-electric vans: ensuring vehicles are adequately charged and ready for daily routes. Predictive monitoring tools, issue alerts and remote troubleshooting capabilities are expected to help reduce downtime and prevent delivery disruptions across large or multi-site fleets.
“At Flexis, we’re building a platform where Ampeco plays a strategic role in delivering visibility and insight into charge point operations,” said Magali Boisjot, Flexis’ Charging Solutions Leader. Glenn L’Heveder, Vice President of Business Development Europe at Ampeco, said the flexibility of the platform “unlocks the capabilities Flexis needs to deliver dependable EV charging at scale.”

Flexis plans to enter several European markets next year and said it has already secured 30 letters of intent with logistics operators including Colis Privé, GLS France, DB Schenker and Buskow Logistics. The company said the partnership with Ampeco will strengthen charging reliability, reduce operating costs and support the scalability of future fleet technologies.
Founded in 2024, Flexis is developing three electric vans — Estafette, Goelette and Trafic — each based on an 800-volt platform with a WLTP range of up to 450 km. The vans will feature fast-charging capability to reach 80% capacity in under 20 minutes and will be supported by Renault subsidiary Ampere’s E/E architecture, with servicing provided through networks operated by Renault Group and Volvo Group.
