Fisker, an electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced its plans to begin delivering a large volume of vehicles to customers in the United States during the week of June 19. Recent data from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reveals that the all-electric Fisker Ocean Extreme, equipped with standard 20-inch wheels and tires, boasts an estimated total range of 360 miles. This surpasses Fisker’s previous range estimates.
In addition to its impressive range, the Fisker Ocean Extreme has obtained both an EPA Certificate of Conformity and a California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order (EO). These approvals authorize the sale and delivery of the Fisker Ocean Extreme in all 50 states of the US, including the District of Columbia.
Henrik Fisker, CEO of the company, expressed enthusiasm about delivering the Fisker Ocean SUVs to customers, acknowledging their patience throughout the regulatory process. He stated, “We are super excited to start getting Fisker Ocean SUVs into customer hands. Our US customers have been exceptionally patient as we have moved through the regulatory process, but we are now ready to enter the next phase of the company’s history.”
The Fisker Ocean, an all-electric SUV, will be offered in three different versions: Extreme, Ultra, and Sport. Some trims of the vehicle have already sold out in various launch markets. Notably, the Fisker Ocean recently won the 2023 Red Dot Product Design Award in the category of Best Electric Vehicle.
