Everrati, a UK-based electric vehicle (EV) conversion specialist, has achieved another milestone in its global expansion by delivering its first mainland European commission to a customer in Amsterdam. The commission is an electrified Land Rover Series IIA, featuring an OEM-grade electric powertrain developed at Everrati’s global headquarters in Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire, England. The vehicle offers a range of up to 150 miles, almost identical to its combustion-engined past, and can drive in near silence and emission-free around the streets of Amsterdam.
The first Dutch customer to receive Everrati’s Land Rover is Shane Happach, a fintech CEO, and a passionate advocate and early adopter of sustainable luxury transportation. He also owns an electric boat from Dutch luxury yacht maker WaterDream, founded by Prince Bernhard van Oranje in 2012, which represents the future of luxury sustainable transport on the waterways of Amsterdam.
The advanced bespoke EV powertrain technology in the Series IIA has been engineered and tested for life in Continental Europe and accredited with UN-ECE R100.01 certification from the Netherlands Vehicle Authority â RDW. Everrati’s team of specialists have meticulously restored the Series IIA body and chassis, pairing the fully rebuilt vehicle with the cutting-edge electric powertrain.
