Fiat has announced the return of the Qubo nameplate with the introduction of the Qubo L, repositioning the model as a family-oriented multi-purpose vehicle and expanding its presence in the compact van-based passenger segment.
The Qubo L is closely related to the Fiat Doblo and appears to share much of its underlying design and configuration. Fiat has framed the Qubo L as a more lifestyle- and family-focused alternative to the Doblo, which is primarily marketed toward commercial users. The vehicle will be available in five- and seven-seat layouts, with body lengths of 4,400 mm and 4,750 mm respectively.

Exterior features include design elements such as a silver-colored skid plate-style trim and a large glass roof. Fiat described the vehicle as offering a “multi-purpose glass roof,” though details were limited. The model will be offered in five exterior colors: Cinema Black, Riviera Blue, Foresta Green, Gelato White and (RED).
Fiat did not release official interior images or detailed specifications, but the Qubo L is expected to largely mirror the Doblo’s cabin. Based on existing configurations, this could include a 10-inch infotainment display, wireless smartphone charging, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, depending on trim level. Fiat said the Qubo L will be available in Pop, Icon and La Prima trims.

The Qubo L will be offered with petrol, diesel and fully electric powertrains. Fiat confirmed a petrol engine option, expected to be a 1.2-litre unit producing around 108 horsepower. Diesel versions will be available with outputs of approximately 99 horsepower and 128 horsepower, likely using a 1.5-litre engine. An all-electric variant will also be offered, producing about 134 horsepower and expected to feature a 50 kWh battery pack with a WLTP-rated range of around 339 km.
Fiat said orders for the Qubo L will open later this month, with vehicles scheduled to arrive at dealerships in early 2026. The launch marks Fiat’s latest effort to refresh existing models under familiar nameplates as it updates its lineup across internal combustion and electric drivetrains in Europe.
