FIAT has announced immediate price reductions across its battery-electric passenger car range in the United Kingdom, including models sold under its Abarth performance brand, as the Stellantis-owned automaker prepares for the market launch of new models later this year.
The Italian brand said the cuts are intended to align pricing between its existing electric lineup and upcoming vehicles, notably the electric Grande Panda and the new 500 Hybrid due later in 2026. As a result, entry prices for the Fiat 500e and Fiat 600e have been lowered to match those of their new counterparts.
Under the revised pricing, the Fiat 500e now starts at £20,995, following a £4,040 reduction from its previous price of £25,035. Fiat said the move positions the 500e among the most affordable fully electric city cars available in the UK. The larger Fiat 600e has seen its starting price reduced by £3,285 to £26,750, while the Abarth 600e performance variant has been discounted by £3,995.
The pricing changes place the 500e level with the electric Grande Panda Pop, which also starts at £20,995, while the Grande Panda Icon begins at £21,995 and the top-spec La Prima at £24,035.
“FIAT is passionately committed to making electrified driving more accessible to customers, and with this new pricing structure for our fully electric line-up of vehicles we are starting the new year by making this transition more affordable and straightforward for drivers,” said Victoria Hatfield, marketing director of FIAT UK.
The company said the price adjustments come as it prepares for the UK rollout of the Grande Panda, with first deliveries now expected in March after an earlier delay attributed to strong demand in left-hand-drive European markets. The Grande Panda, first unveiled in mid-2024, will be offered in the UK as both a battery-electric and mild hybrid model.
The electric version of the Grande Panda is powered by a 44 kWh battery paired with an 83 kW electric motor, offering a driving range of up to 199 miles, while the hybrid variant combines a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a 21 kW electric motor.
