Fersa will showcase its latest bearing and drivetrain technologies at Automechanika Frankfurt and IAA Transportation in September, highlighting products designed for both conventional and electric vehicle platforms.
New Products for Passenger and Electric Vehicles
The Spanish manufacturer will exhibit at Hall 3.0, Stand C30 during Automechanika Frankfurt from September 8–12, before appearing at Hall 12, Stand E48 during IAA Transportation in Hannover from September 15–20.
Among the featured products will be Fersa’s second-generation Fuel Efficient wheel end hub assemblies, developed to meet increasingly stringent efficiency requirements from European vehicle manufacturers.
According to the company, the updated hub assemblies incorporate optimized grease quantities, tighter internal geometries, advanced sealing technology, the Ultra Pro Series High Power Density design and a range of coated bearings intended to improve efficiency and durability.
EV Drivetrain Repair Solutions
Fersa will also introduce repair kits for electric vehicle drive units as an alternative to proprietary replacement components.
The kits include hybrid ceramic and insulated bearings designed to reduce friction, improve durability and help protect electric motors against electrical discharge.
Wheel knuckle modules and wheel end hub units for electric vehicles will also be displayed during the exhibitions.
Heavy-Duty Applications
For commercial vehicle applications, Fersa plans to exhibit its CLAC P pneumatic clutch actuator and clutch kits, which are designed for demanding operating environments.
The company said the products are intended to maintain performance under challenging operating conditions, including high loads, varying speeds, elevated temperatures and vibration.
