The rapidity of electric car technology has also opened up innovation for several companies. Not only do they provide recharging facilities for electric car batteries with fast charging technology, but they also continue to develop new, more modern batteries.
Like the Enovix company, they are now presenting a new breakthrough which has presented an electric car battery which has the advantage of a shorter charging time.
Citing information from New Atlas, Enovix, the company from the United States has made a new innovation related to its claim. Through the technology on display, they hope to play a role in the electrification industry, especially in the automotive sector.
Still from the report, Enovix, has conducted studies related to battery research where currently many battery uses rely on the anode. The use of these components does have a capacity that is superior to other components.
Through the development of this fast battery charging technology, Enovix CEO and President, Harrold Rust, explained that this would be something that could provide increased performance in the electrification sector.
“We are proud to support this cause to help take the automotive industry by storm and demonstrate that our batteries are an attractive option for powering electric vehicles over long distances and fast charging,” said Harrold Rust in a statement.
The company has developed the technology through a grant program from the US Department of Energy. Through this assistance, Enovix hopes to offer a solution not only for electric vehicles but also for wider storage applications.
In the claims they announced, through this new technology they explained that they could recharge an electric car battery up to 80 percent in 5.2 minutes. Meanwhile, to achieve a charge of more than 98 percent, this technology is able to do it in less than 10 minutes.
