Voyah has launched the Passion S, a large battery-electric SUV in China combining an 800-volt electrical architecture, large-capacity LFP batteries and up to 475 kW of electric power. The model offers a claimed CLTC range of up to 740 kilometres and starts at 229,900 yuan.

The Passion S is available in three configurations, with two rear-wheel-drive versions and one dual-motor all-wheel-drive model.

Voyah Passion S Dimensions

The Passion S is positioned as a large electric SUV with the following dimensions:

  • Length: 5,050 mm
  • Width: 1,998 mm
  • Height: 1,656 mm
  • Wheelbase: 3,000 mm
  • Boot capacity: 584–1,744 litres
  • Frunk capacity: 80 litres

The SUV features frameless doors, an adaptive rear spoiler and wheels of up to 21 inches.

Battery and Electric Range

The Passion S uses lithium iron phosphate batteries and is available with two battery capacities.

The entry-level rear-wheel-drive version uses an 81.6 kWh battery and has a claimed CLTC range of 630 km.

The larger battery has a capacity of 98.1 kWh. It provides a claimed CLTC range of up to 740 km in the rear-wheel-drive version and 700 km in the all-wheel-drive configuration.

The CLTC figures are based on China’s testing cycle and may differ from results under other testing standards.

Powertrain and Performance

The two rear-wheel-drive Passion S variants use a 300 kW electric motor with 390 Nm of torque.

Their claimed 0–100 km/h acceleration times are 6.7 seconds for the version with the smaller battery and 6.9 seconds for the larger-battery version.

The range-topping all-wheel-drive model combines a 300 kW rear motor with a 175 kW front motor.

Total system output reaches 475 kW, while maximum torque is 765 Nm. Voyah states that the AWD version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

800-Volt Charging Technology

All three Passion S variants use an 800-volt electrical architecture with silicon carbide technology.

Voyah says the battery system supports charging at up to 5C. The manufacturer claims that the battery can charge from 20% to 80% in 10 minutes.

Voyah has not disclosed a specific maximum DC charging power in kilowatts.

The Passion S also supports Vehicle-to-Load functionality with an output of up to 6 kW.

Driver Assistance Technology

The Passion S comes with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 driver-assistance system as standard across the three variants.

The vehicle is equipped with four LiDAR sensors, including an 896-line LiDAR at the front and three additional sensors positioned to monitor the vehicle’s immediate surroundings.

Voyah says the SUV has 33 sensors in total.

The system is supported by Huawei’s driver-assistance technology, while HarmonySpace 5.2 is used for the vehicle’s in-car software environment.

Suspension and Chassis

The rear-wheel-drive versions use adaptive dampers.

The all-wheel-drive Passion S adds adjustable air suspension, providing additional control over the vehicle’s ride and handling characteristics.

The SUV is designed around a large body and three-metre wheelbase, while the chassis configuration supports both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions.

The standard Chinese prices are:

  • Passion S RWD 81.6 kWh: 229,900 yuan
  • Passion S RWD 98.1 kWh: 255,900 yuan
  • Passion S AWD 98.1 kWh: 279,900 yuan

Voyah is offering temporary launch discounts, although the exact promotional prices may vary.

Voyah Passion S Market Position

The Passion S enters China’s increasingly competitive electric SUV and large electric vehicle market.

Its starting price is slightly below the Xiaomi SU7, while its combination of a large battery, 800-volt charging system and Huawei-based driver assistance is aimed at buyers seeking higher equipment levels.

Voyah has not confirmed whether the Passion S will be introduced in Germany or other European markets.

In May 2026, Stellantis and Dongfeng signed a non-binding letter of intent concerning a potential joint venture for distributing Voyah models in selected European markets. However, no specific European launch plan for the Passion S has been announced.
