Xpeng has unveiled the P7+, an advanced electric sedan, hailed as the world’s first AI-powered vehicle. This cutting-edge model integrates artificial intelligence across various areas, such as smart driving, power management, energy control, and thermal regulation.

The P7+, internally codenamed F57, notably adopts a vision-only intelligent driving system, forgoing LiDAR technology in favor of an “Eagle Eye” vision solution. According to Xpeng, this system provides highly accurate, long-distance data collection and covers an area equivalent to 1.8 standard football fields, enhancing overall safety and efficiency.

The P7+ stands out for its intelligent driving capabilities, offering a seamless “door-to-door” and “parking space-to-parking space” experience. Its driving system is powered by two Nvidia Orin X chips, supported by Xpeng’s XNGP (Xpeng Navigation Guided Pilot) feature, which will be available at launch.

The P7+ is designed to operate in various environments without limitations imposed by city layouts or road conditions, setting it apart from other electric vehicles.

In terms of size and performance, the P7+ measures 5,056 mm in length, 1,937 mm in width, and 1,512 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. These dimensions surpass those of its predecessor, the P7i, and provide a more spacious interior.

The vehicle offers two battery options: a 60.7 kWh pack with a range of 620 km and a 76.3 kWh pack with a range of 710 km, based on the CLTC cycle. The P7+ is also highly efficient, consuming just 11.6 kWh of electricity per 100 km, thanks to its aerodynamic design.

Inside, the P7+ is equipped with a 15.6-inch main screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip. The cockpit also features a two-spoke steering wheel, dual wireless charging pads, and an 8-inch rear-seat display.

The rear seats offer electric adjustments, ventilation, and massage functions, while a folding table is available for the right rear passenger. With a spacious trunk and a 4/6 folding ratio, the Xpeng P7+ promises both luxury and functionality in the electric vehicle market.
