The Tata Ultra E.12 is an electric truck designed for the intermediate light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment, with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) rating of 11.9 tonnes. Developed by Tata Motors, the Ultra E.12 is aimed primarily at e-commerce businesses that require efficient and sustainable transportation solutions.

The truck is available in a range of deck length options, including 17 ft., 20 ft., 22 ft., and 24 ft., allowing businesses to choose the most suitable configuration based on their specific needs.

The Ultra E.12 is powered by a 250 kW powertrain and comes with battery options that offer energy storage capacities ranging from 96 kWh to 300 kWh. The battery size can be selected based on customer preferences and usage requirements, with the truck providing a range between 120 km and 350 km on a single charge, depending on the battery configuration. This flexibility allows businesses to choose the most efficient solution for their delivery operations.

One of the standout features of the Ultra E.12 is the integration of a solar panel into the container walls. This solar panel generates energy that powers the truck’s auxiliary systems and charges the low-voltage battery, offering an additional layer of sustainability.
