The Piech GT is the first electric sports car to be produced by a manufacturer founded by Piech Automotive.
Launching from Auto Express and Autocar, the Piech GT was first introduced at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show as the Piech Mark Zero.
There was no news, Piech has confirmed that the GT prototype is entering the initial testing phase. Piech also said that the electric sports car will start production in 2024.
The interesting thing about this sports car is that it has qualified specs to fight the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT.

Piech provides the GT with three electric motors with a layout of one motor driving the front wheels and two motors driving the rear wheels.
Overall, the three electric motors are claimed to deliver a combined power of 611 hp or about 40 hp stronger than the Taycan 4S.
Piech GT claims can run 0-100 km / h in 3 seconds and 0-200 km / h in less than 9 seconds. Electrical energy for the Piech GT electric motor is supplied from a Lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 75 kWh.

The Piech GT battery is claimed to have a total mileage of 500 kilometers and has advanced charging technology. Not kidding, Piech also said that the GT battery can be quickly charged up to 80 percent in just five minutes.
However, this capability is only available at dedicated charging stations. When charged at a fast charging station like Ionity, the GT battery is said to be able to be charged 80% in eight minutes.
