Luxeed has expanded its electric vehicle lineup in China with the launch of the RX, a mid-to-large electric coupe SUV jointly developed by Huawei and Chery. The model combines Huawei’s Tuling platform, an 800-volt electrical architecture and a new high-performance electric drive system with an advanced LiDAR-based driver-assistance package.
The RX is offered in six variants, with rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations, battery capacities of up to 100 kWh and a maximum claimed CLTC range of 852 km.
Luxeed RX Pricing and Variants
The Luxeed RX is available in six variants priced from 259,800 yuan to 389,800 yuan.

Dimensions and Coupe SUV Design
The RX is positioned as a mid-to-large electric coupe SUV and measures 5,020 mm in length, 2,007 mm in width and 1,585 mm in height.
Its wheelbase measures 3,000 mm, providing a substantial footprint while maintaining the lower roofline associated with the coupe SUV body style.
The model is the fourth vehicle in the Luxeed lineup, following the S7 sedan, R7 coupe SUV and V9 MPV.
Huawei Tuling Platform and Electric Drive System
The Luxeed RX is built on Huawei’s Tuling platform and introduces Huawei’s next-generation high-performance electric drive system.
The electric drive system can reach a maximum motor speed of 21,000 rpm, supporting the RX’s high-performance positioning.

The vehicle can charge from 30% to 80% in approximately 15 minutes under the specified charging conditions.
The high-voltage system is designed to complement the RX’s large battery options and long-distance driving capability by reducing the amount of time required for charging stops.
4-LiDAR Intelligent Driving System
One of the RX’s key technology features is its 4-LiDAR sensing architecture.
The SUV incorporates a total of 38 sensors, including an 896-channel dual-optical-path imaging LiDAR and three high-precision solid-state LiDAR units.

Luxeed says the RX’s electronic architecture has been designed to support Level 3 autonomous driving.

Interior Technology and Seating
The RX’s cabin focuses on digital displays and comfort-oriented features.
The dashboard features a 26-inch augmented-reality head-up display, while the center console incorporates a 16.1-inch swiveling touchscreen.
A separate 8.88-inch display is provided for the front passenger.
The SUV also features smart wraparound seats equipped with 98 pressure sensors and 27 air bladders. The system is designed to provide more adaptive support and personalized comfort for occupants.
Luxeed RX Market Position
The RX enters China’s premium electric SUV market alongside several established competitors.
The Xiaomi YU7 starts at 233,500 yuan in its standard configuration, while the high-performance YU7 GT reaches 389,900 yuan. The Tesla Model Y and IM Motors LS6 also compete within the broader price range targeted by the RX.
The RX therefore sits in a segment where electric SUVs increasingly combine long-range batteries, high-voltage charging systems, advanced driver assistance and premium cabin technology.
