LiveWire has introduced the S2 Mulholland, a cruiser-styled electric motorcycle based on the S2 Del Mar platform. Designed for a more upright and comfortable riding position, the S2 Mulholland features higher and rearward-positioned handlebars, catering to riders who prefer a relaxed yet performance-driven experience. The model takes its name from the iconic Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles County, a road immortalized in the 2001 film Mulholland Drive by director David Lynch.
Built on the same S2 platform as the Del Mar, the S2 Mulholland shares similar handling dynamics but with key design changes that enhance rider comfort and style. Weighing in at 196 kg, the electric cruiser delivers a power output of approximately 60 kW and an impressive torque of 263 Nm. These specifications enable the bike to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96.6 km/h) in around 3 seconds, placing it among the fastest electric motorcycles in its category.

Equipped with a 10.5 kWh battery, the S2 Mulholland offers a range of up to 194 km in urban settings and 118 km on highways at a steady speed of 88 km/h. Charging is limited to AC power, supporting both Level 1 (120V, commonly used in the U.S.) and Level 2 (220-240V, more common in Europe) charging. Using Level 2 charging, the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in approximately 78 minutes. However, the S2 Mulholland, like other S2 models, does not support DC fast charging.
LiveWire emphasizes that the S2 Mulholland is designed to reflect traditional internal combustion engine cruisers, particularly in the way it highlights the bike’s tank design. In addition, the model is the first from LiveWire to incorporate sustainable materials in key components, further reinforcing the company’s commitment to eco-friendly innovation. The S2 Mulholland is priced at 19,427 euros in Germany and 18,490 Swiss francs in Switzerland, positioning it competitively within the premium electric motorcycle segment.

Despite sharing its platform with the S2 Del Mar, the S2 Mulholland delivers a distinct riding experience. LiveWire attributes this difference to a newly designed ergonomic triangle formed by the handlebars, footrests, and seat. The handlebars, mounted on a six-inch riser, are positioned higher and closer to the rider, ensuring a comfortable upright stance more aligned with performance cruisers rather than flat-track racing bikes.
This thoughtful design change enhances both comfort and control, making the S2 Mulholland a compelling choice for riders seeking a high-performance yet relaxed electric cruiser.
