British conversion specialist Everrati has unveiled a new package that turns the classic Land Rover Defender into an electric car.
The electric car conversion package for the Land Rover Defender was introduced alongside the package for the classic Range Rover.
Of course, to turn the classic Defender and classic Range Rover into electric cars, consumers must prepare a fairly large pocket.
Everrati retails the classic Defender restoration and conversion package starting at Ā£185,000. Meanwhile, for the classic Range Rover, the price tag is more expensive, which is 230,000 pounds sterling.
“We are proud to announce our plans for a classic Range Rover and Land Rover Defender,” said Justin Lunny, Chief Executive Officer of Everrati.
“These two cars set new standards that keep them alive in the era of electrification,” added Lunny.
What will the Everrati convertible Defender get? The first, of course, is the electric car technology developed by Everrati.
Everrati is ready to embed the OEM standard 3-phase AC electric motor, battery pack and the latest battery management.
Unfortunately, the Oxfordshire-based automotive firm has not yet disclosed the motor power or battery capacity for the convertible Defender.
As an illustration, the Everrati Land Rover Series IIA gets an electric motor with 150 hp and 300 Nm of torque.
Then for the battery, Everrati provides a Series IIA conversion battery with a capacity of 60 kWh which gives a claimed mileage of 241 kilometers.
There is potential for the electric motors on classic Defenders and Range Rovers to be more powerful than the motors on the Series IIA.
In addition to Everrati’s signature electric car technology, the convertible Defender has also been restored to high quality standards and materials.
