Electrify America has announced the integration of its real-time charger data with Google Maps, giving electric vehicle (EV) drivers instant access to up-to-the-minute information about charging station availability across its network.
The integration allows users to view key details including connector type, charging speed, and the operational status of each charger directly within the Google Maps application.
This collaboration enhances Google’s existing real-time charger availability feature, helping drivers make more informed decisions when planning their routes. Instead of switching between multiple apps to check charger status, EV users can now view everything in one place.
“EV adoption is accelerating, and with it comes the expectation of a seamless charging experience,” said Robert Barrosa, president and CEO of Electrify America. “By integrating real-time charging station data, we’re not just improving access, we’re empowering drivers with the confidence to go electric.”

The partnership addresses one of the most common pain points for EV owners: uncertainty about whether a charger will be available or operational upon arrival. With EV sales continuing to rise, access to transparent and reliable charging information has become increasingly important.
The integration between Electrify America and Google Maps aims to make the charging process smoother, reduce range anxiety, and further encourage the shift toward electric mobility.
