Portuguese EV charging infrastructure provider Efacec debuted two new fast charging systems at Power2Drive Europe 2025, including its flagship HPC 240/400 high-performance chargers and a modular DC fast charger aimed at customisable fleet and public charging needs.
The new HPC series includes the HPC 240, which offers up to 240 kW of power, and the HPC 400, which reaches 400 kW. Designed with scalability and efficiency in mind, both models target high-traffic locations and heavy-duty electric vehicles. “With improved functions, greater efficiency and scalability, this solution has been specially developed to meet the requirements of modern energy infrastructures,” the company said.
While Efacec did not release full technical specifications, it emphasized that thermal management and sustained power output for heavy-duty EVs such as electric trucks were key development focuses.
Alongside the HPC models, Efacec also introduced the QC 120 modular fast charger, which supports outputs ranging from 60 kW to 120 kW. The charger features a new “Active Boost” mode allowing up to 400 amps of current, which can accommodate various charging demands. Both chargers have already received calibration certification for the German market.
Efacec is also showcasing its EVCore CPMS and EVCore LMS systems—intelligent software platforms designed to enhance infrastructure monitoring and efficiency for charge point operators and fleet managers.
“This event is the ideal platform not only to bring our well-known portfolio closer to our customers, but above all to present our new product, which represents a significant technological advance and opens up new markets for us,” said André Cruz, Commercial Director for EV Charging Solutions at Efacec.
