Ebusco wants to start production electric bus in France next year

Dutch manufacturer wants to start production of electric buses in next year. Ebusco has leased an area of ​​21,000 square meters at the factory site in Cléon.

For the production of electric buses in France, Ebusco will invest around 10 million euros for the conversion of the production facility in Cléon to produce electric buses.

In addition to being a production facility, the French company’s headquarters will also be located there. Cléon is located on the Seine northwest of Paris – between the capital and the coast to the English Channel

The production facility at Cléon is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2023 with an initial capacity of 500 units per year. The production facility at Cléon has the option to increase production capacity in the following years.

The Cléon site is indeed projected by Renault for the production of and Ebusco also wants to take advantage of the ecosystem created in that location for the production of electric vehicles.

In the release, Ebusco did not mention what model will be produced in France.

By Ebusco, France is a strategic market for Ebusco electric buses. With the production facility in Cléon is expected to improve services to their consumers in France.
