Electric dirt bikes are gaining attention for their power, agility, low maintenance, and quiet operation, making them appealing to a broad range of riders. Dust, a company focused on electric dirt bikes, is capitalizing on this trend by releasing another 100 spots for its upcoming all-electric dirt bike.

Dust’s unique approach to building its bikes and business through crowdfunding has been successful, with the first 50 bike subscriptions selling quickly. The company’s crowdfunding strategy allows customers to pay monthly until they receive their bike, making it more accessible to a wider range of enthusiasts.

The F100 campaign, as Dust is calling this release, offers backers 15% off the end MSRP along with access to monthly member meetings, newsletters, and behind-the-scenes updates. Backers will also receive delivery of bikes from the first batch of production bikes with special custom touches. Dust credits its success to the involvement of members in the design and development process, which has helped validate its Alpha_1 prototype.

The Dust electric dirt bike is positioned between a 125cc and 250cc bike, offering the best attributes of both. With specs aimed at 91 kilos (200 pounds), 35 horsepower, and 300 lb-ft of torque from a swappable 3.5 kW battery pack, the bike promises an exhilarating ride. It features a 20-inch wheel in the front and an 18-19 inch wheel in the rear.
