The electric vehicle industry has recently mushroomed. Not to forget the well-known motorcycle brand from Italy – Ducati, which also released two electric bikes under the name Ducati Scrambler.

The Ducati Scrambler SCR-X and SCR-E GT, not only come as electric bikes but also offer an innovative design where they can be folded. The design is inspired by the sturdy arm of a Ducati motorcycle and has a retro feel.

The Ducati Scrambler SCR-X and SCR-E GT electric folding bikes are designed for the city-wide riding experience, and also have a focus on sustainability. The drive and electrical systems are embedded in a large aluminum frame.

Both have 20 x 4.0 inch tires. The SCR-X has a telescopic front suspension and an integrated rear rack, which can carry up to 25kg of luggage. There are 7 speed transmissions that can be adjusted by the user while driving.

The bike is equipped with a removable 499Wh battery, with a maximum range of up to 80km on a single full charge. The top speed is 25km/hour.

While the SCR-E GT, this bike is designed with more capabilities in off-road terrain. This bike has special tires to be able to run on gravel, sand, or slightly rough roads. The frame is made more solid, while for speed and maximum range the same as the SCR-X.

With a folding design, these two electric bikes can be carried in the trunk of a car. Ducati will start selling its electric folding bike from July 2022.
