DLL, a global vendor finance company, and Iveco Group said they have received regulatory approval to establish their previously announced joint venture, GATE, to support the transition to low- and zero-emission commercial vehicles in Europe. The agreement, first disclosed in May 2025, aims to broaden access to sustainable mobility solutions through rental services.
Under the deal, DLL acquired a 51% majority stake in GATE, which had been fully owned by Iveco Group, via a reserved capital increase. Iveco Group retains 49% of the share capital. The companies said the new structure will provide GATE with enhanced financial resources and expertise in asset financing, accelerating its development and expansion plans across Europe.
GATE currently offers rental solutions for low- and zero-emission vehicles, supported by a digital ecosystem and premium service partners. Initially launched in Italy in 2023, the business expanded to France and Germany in 2024. The joint venture now plans to extend services into other European markets where both DLL and Iveco Group already operate, with potential to broaden offerings to additional brands beyond Iveco over time.
The partners said integration work between DLL, Iveco Group and GATE is already underway, with a focus on advancing the company’s growth strategy while maintaining business expansion projects.
