Daimler Buses has acquired nearly half of German software solutions company Sinos, reinforcing their collaboration in intelligent charging and fleet management software, the companies announced.
Daimler Buses and Sinos have been working together since 2022, with Daimler offering Sinosâ software to customers transitioning to electric bus fleets. âMore than 20 transport companies in Europe have already successfully implemented Sinos solutions in their fleet in collaboration with Daimler Buses,â the company said in a statement.

Sinosâ software includes charging and load management solutions as well as digital depot visualisation, allowing fleet operators to track vehicle positions and optimise processes.
âThe Sinos software solution is user-friendly, efficient and expandable. This is why it has been so popular with our customers for several years now,â said Till Oberwörder, CEO of Daimler Buses. âWith our stake, we want to make use of SINOSâ expertise and innovative strength to develop charging management software that is even better tailored to our e-buses.â

Earlier in March, Daimler Buses announced that its digital service package, which includes âOmniplus On Battery Monitoringâ and fleet consumption tracking, would be available for free for newly delivered electric buses for a limited period.
