Cupra has opened pre-orders in the United Kingdom for its all-electric Raval compact hatchback, with prices starting at £23,785 for the entry-level Origin version.

The Raval is built on the Volkswagen Group MEB+ electric vehicle platform and becomes one of the first production models to use the updated architecture.

The model is Cupra’s third battery-electric vehicle following the Cupra Born and Cupra Tavascan. First customer deliveries in the UK are expected later this year.

The Origin trim combines a 37kWh battery pack with a 115PS electric motor and offers a WLTP driving range of up to 186 miles.

Higher-specification variants equipped with a 52kWh battery — including V1, V2 and VZ trims — provide up to 277 miles of range and support DC fast charging at up to 105kW, allowing charging from 10% to 80% in around 30 minutes, according to the company.

Cupra said all currently approved 52kWh variants qualify for the UK government’s £1,500 Electric Car Grant, reducing the starting price for those models to £28,495. The entry-level Origin variant is not eligible for the subsidy.

The Raval closely follows the design of the UrbanRebel concept vehicle first introduced by Cupra four years ago.

The compact electric hatchback measures 4.05 meters in length with a 2.60-meter wheelbase and features styling elements including Matrix LED headlights, illuminated flush door handles, a rear light bar and an illuminated rear logo.

Customers will be able to select from seven exterior colors and eight wheel designs.

To support the launch, Cupra said early buyers will have access to a limited V2 Launch Edition package that includes additional equipment valued at £1,500 at no extra cost compared with the standard V2 trim.

The automaker is also offering complimentary standard metallic paint on 52kWh models ordered before Aug. 31, 2026, while premium metallic and matte finishes will be available with discounted pricing during the same promotional period.

Cupra added that the first 100 retail customers to complete pre-orders will receive a Harper Collective x Cupra cabin suitcase.
