Citroen has launched its newest concept car, an all-electric SUV called Oli. This concept car has a half SUV and half pickup truck design, which can be said is quite a unique design.
To keep the weight of this SUV-pickup low, the components contained in the Oli are made entirely from recycled materials. The concept car’s bodywork is made of recycled cardboard reinforced between fiberglass panels and coated with polyurethane resin.
Each panel can also support an adult standing on it even though it weighs half the weight of a traditional steel panel.
In the interior, this electric SUV is equipped with a four-seat cabin, and uses a long front door with a hidden suicide door. The interior looks simple and symmetrical with no instrument panel or center screen to reduce the number of components needed.
This car battery is predicted to only need 40 kWh to provide a range of 400 km so that the maximum efficiency of consumption is 10 kWh per 100 km. While the top speed is limited to 110 kph. Regarding recharging, the battery is 20% to 80% complete in about 23 minutes.
