Citroen has introduced a new variant of its ë-Jumper electric van, adding a lightweight box body option to its existing lineup. The expansion is aimed at enhancing the model’s versatility for professional users, the French automaker said in a statement on Friday.
The new box body configuration joins the existing ë-Jumper versions, which include panel van, platform truck, tipper and chassis variants. Citroen and its parent company Stellantis had launched the updated generation of the ë-Jumper in October 2023 alongside electric versions of sister models from Fiat, Opel and Peugeot. That upgrade saw the vehicle receive a significant performance boost, including a 205 kW electric motor — up from 90 kW — and a 110 kWh battery pack.
The maximum WLTP range for the lightweight van variant now reaches up to 366 km, with Stellantis citing a range of up to 420 km depending on configuration.
“With two lengths, comprehensive standard equipment and a wide range of individual options, [the ë-Jumper] is perfectly tailored to the requirements of professionals,” Citroen said.
The box body version is available in two lengths — L3 offering 18.5 cubic metres and L4 offering 20.5 cubic metres of cargo space — with either rear doors or a tailgate. The wheelbase for both versions is 4,035 mm.
Standard features include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with DAB, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Additional equipment includes automatic air conditioning, electrically adjustable heated mirrors, halogen lighting, a connection socket for bodybuilders, and extensive interior storage.
Citroen also highlighted a range of integrated safety and driver assistance technologies, including active lane departure warning, emergency brake assist, blind spot monitoring, and traffic sign recognition.
The lightweight box body ë-Jumper is available to order now, with prices starting at €65,200 (net, plus VAT). For comparison, the base ë-Jumper panel van starts at €54,000, while the single cab chassis and platform truck variants are priced from €51,300 and €54,300 respectively.
