Chrysler has unveiled its latest concept car, the Chrysler Halcyon Concept, featuring a sustainability-driven exterior and interior design, along with full autonomy and personalized driving experiences. Built on the STLA Large platform from Stellantis, this concept car embodies the future of luxury electric vehicles.
One of the standout features of the Chrysler Halcyon Concept is its augmented-reality full-screen head-up display (HUD), providing essential driving information such as speed, charge status, and more. The cockpit is equipped with AI functionality, enabling drivers to interact with the vehicle through voice commands.
The STLA Brain technology ensures that the concept car stays up-to-date with the latest technology and features through over-the-air (OTA) updates. Additionally, the Stellantis AI system enables the vehicle to diagnose issues and provide OTA solutions, eliminating the need for dealership visits.
To enhance security and convenience, the Chrysler Halcyon Concept incorporates facial biometrics for hands-free vehicle entry and start-up, with doors unlocking and opening autonomously. Furthermore, the interior features sustainable materials, with Chrysler wing logos made from crushed and recycled music CDs.
Chrysler is set to launch its first battery-electric vehicle in 2025, with plans to transition to an all-electric portfolio by 2028. Chris Feuell, Chrysler brand CEO at Stellantis, expressed, “The Chrysler Halcyon Concept creates a level of serenity that fully represents the Halcyon name. The Halcyon showcases innovative and sustainable mobility solutions that embrace technology and offer value to customers while delivering Harmony in Motion. The Chrysler Halcyon Concept brings to life a fully electric tomorrow through new technology suites from Stellantis that integrate with simple and pure aerodynamic design and a seamless, connected and immersive cockpit experience.”
