Chrysler, a brand under the Stellantis umbrella, is gearing up for an exciting shift in its lineup, as CEO Christine Feuell unveiled plans for a new two-row electric crossover set to debut in 2025. The announcement was made during Feuell’s appearance at the Reuters Events Automotive USA 2023 conference in Detroit.

The forthcoming electric crossover is expected to draw inspiration from the striking Chrysler Airflow concept, which was unveiled at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show. While specifics about the design are yet to be fully disclosed, the model will share the STLA Large architecture with other Stellantis vehicles, ensuring it benefits from the brand’s extensive engineering expertise.

In addition to the eagerly anticipated electric crossover, Chrysler is contemplating the introduction of a new sedan. This potential addition to the lineup comes as the long-serving Chrysler 300 is gradually phased out of production. Feuell stated that a concept version of the new sedan will be unveiled early next year, keeping automotive enthusiasts and Chrysler fans in suspense about what to expect.

Chrysler is committed to environmental sustainability as well, as Feuell revealed that the brand plans to continue offering a hybrid gas-electric Pacifica minivan “through the end of the decade.” This strategic move aligns with the industry’s broader shift toward electrification and reduced emissions.

In a bid to enhance the customer experience, Chrysler is also exploring innovative digital solutions. Feuell mentioned that the brand is currently testing a digital “customer experience” website, where consumers can seamlessly configure, order, and schedule the delivery of their new vehicles. This customer-centric approach aims to streamline the car-buying process and provide added convenience for prospective buyers.

Chrysler’s latest developments reflect the brand’s commitment to staying relevant in a rapidly evolving automotive landscape and delivering exciting, sustainable, and user-friendly options to its customers. As the electric crossover and potential new sedan take center stage, Chrysler remains an intriguing player in the automotive industry’s transformation journey.
