Chrysler has just introduced the Airflow concept electric car at CES 2022. The Airflow is a development version of the FCA Airflow Concept which was introduced two years ago.

Chrysler in its presentation at CES 2022 announced that it will introduce its first production electric vehicle in 2025. Then in 2028, Chrysler will transform into a car with a full electric powertrain.

The Chrysler Airflow concept electric car is built on the new full electric architecture from Stellantis with the latest technology. The powertrain consists of two electric motors, with one on each axle.

In terms of performance, each electric motor is capable of producing 150 kW of power, equivalent to 204 PS. It is not known how much the battery capacity is, but it is claimed to be able to cover a distance of 563 to 644 kilometers on a single charge.

The STLA's electrical or electronic architecture and software are compatible with over-the-air upgrades. The STLA SmartCockpit is featured in the Airflow concept with a three-screen layout on the dashboard and two additional screens for rear passengers.

In addition, the Chrysler Airflow electric concept car is also equipped with the STLA AutoDrive system. The autopilot system is capable of Level 3 autonomous driving.
