Ltd. is now officially registered. The entity is wholly owned by Nio and has complied with the necessary regulatory requirements. The new company has a registered model of $100 million.
The legal representative of the new Nio technology company is Qin Lihong, co-founder and current president of Nio. The registered address of Nio Mobile Technologies is Nio’s global headquarters in Anting, Shanghai.
The new company is officially a developer of AI software and hardware. It is the first Nio subsidiary to specifically target the mobile technology business. The Nio phone is rumored to be coming next year. CEO Nio said that the company plans to develop a phone that will be launched once a year.
Nio already has substantial capabilities in mobile technology through its electric vehicles.
