Tesla has released some new images of its electric truck called the Tesla Semi. Where, this change is focused on exterior and interior design.
Previously, the Tesla Semi concept was first introduced in 2017, then in 2019 this truck was officially launched to the market. These electric trucks will revolutionize the commercial vehicle industry, by significantly reducing CO2 emissions.
But over time, this electric truck seems to be a joke because the model is considered too old for future vehicles. Tesla has finally made a number of updates to its eco-friendly truck.
In this latest design, the Tesla Semi still maintains the outline of the previous model, but several changes have been made. The most noticeable difference is in the addition of large mirrors and side mirror pillars that have been expanded, from 2 to 3 pillars.
The door handle design is also new, the black trim on the rear of the cabin and the rear wheels are open, there is no kind of cover like the previous model.
Entering the cabin area, there is a new console and steering wheel equipped with setting buttons. The dashboard itself carries a multilevel design.
Regarding performance, the Tesla Semi electric truck is equipped with a battery system that can cover a distance of 483 km to 805 km. Where, 3 independent electric motors on the rear axle are claimed to be able to provide acceleration from 0-96 kph in 20 seconds.
According to Tesla CEO, Elon Musk revealed that the Tesla Semi will be delivered from the end of 2022.
