ChargePoint has introduced a new Channel Partner Program for distributors across Europe, offering tiered pricing, performance-based rebates, marketing resources and technical training to strengthen its sales network and support the deployment of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
The US-based charging specialist will roll out the initiative across the UK, France, the DACH region, the Benelux countries and the Nordic countries. Participating distributors can access financial incentives, project protection, marketing support and technical training.
The program features three partner levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Progression depends on annual revenue and completion of designated training courses and certifications.
Tiered Incentives for Distributors
ChargePoint said partners can unlock greater commercial benefits as they progress through the program’s tiers.
“As partners advance through Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers, they unlock increasing discounts on charging hardware, software subscriptions, and services, along with performance-based rebates that reward business growth.”
The program is open to all authorised ChargePoint distributors. Companies that have not yet qualified for a partner level can still access many of its offerings through ChargePoint’s wholesale channel.
Unlike programs focused primarily on hardware sales, the new framework combines charging equipment with cloud software, services, training, marketing resources and business planning.
ChargePoint Targets Recurring Revenue Growth
John Saffrett, ChargePoint’s new Europe chief, said the initiative is designed to help resellers build sustainable businesses while enabling customers to deploy charging infrastructure more efficiently.
“The transition to electric transportation depends on the strength of the ecosystem delivering charging infrastructure to businesses and fleets. Our new partner program is designed to help resellers build sustainable, recurring revenue businesses while helping customers deploy charging faster and operate it more effectively. By investing in our partners’ growth, we’re strengthening the entire EV charging value chain.”
Saffrett has previously highlighted Europe’s growing importance to ChargePoint’s global business. The partner program provides a structured approach to supporting distributors as the company expands its regional presence.
Portfolio Covers AC and High-Power DC Charging
ChargePoint’s European portfolio includes AC charging solutions such as the CP6000, alongside its Express line of DC charging products.
The Express range includes the Express Solo, which supports charging power of up to 600 kW. By combining these products with software subscriptions and services, ChargePoint aims to give distributors a broader offering for business customers and fleet operators.
The program’s effectiveness will depend on distributor participation, completion of required training and the ability to generate additional hardware, software and service revenue across European markets.
