Changan Automobile’s sub-brand Nevo has officially launched its A06 sedan, adding another affordable new energy vehicle option to the Chinese market. Prices for the model start at RMB 109,900 ($15,440).
The Nevo A06 is available as a battery electric vehicle (BEV) and an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV). The BEV offers six trim levels ranging from RMB 109,900 to RMB 149,900, while the EREV is offered in two variants starting at RMB 119,900 and RMB 129,900. The sedan is positioned to compete with models such as the BYD Qin L, Geely Galaxy A7, and Nissan N7.

Built on Changan’s Software-Defined Car (SDA) platform, the five-seat rear-wheel-drive A06 measures 4,885 mm in length, 1,916 mm in width, and 1,496 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,922 mm. The BEV provides two motor options with maximum power outputs of 210 kW (281 hp) and 120 kW, delivering peak torques of 290 Nm and 190 Nm respectively. Battery options include a 63.18-kWh LFP pack for 630 km of CLTC range and a 51.48-kWh LFP pack for 510 km.
The A06 EREV features a 120 kW rear motor and a 1.5L range-extending engine producing 72 kW, paired with a 28.39 kWh battery. The EREV achieves a CLTC battery range of 240 km and a combined range of 2,120 km with a full tank and fully charged battery.

The top two A06 variants are equipped with LiDAR sensors to enhance driver-assistance capabilities. Nevo, launched in August 2023, currently offers models including the A05, A06, A07 sedans, Q05, Q07, E07 SUVs, and the Lumin compact EV, with plans to expand the global portfolio to 10 models by 2025.
