Equipped with BYD’s advanced DiSus-Z body control system, the U7 offers enhanced ride comfort and safety. The system allows the vehicle to maintain stability in the event of a flat tire by lifting the damaged wheel, enabling it to continue driving at 80 km/h for up to 30 kilometers. Additionally, DiSus-Z integrates LiDAR and camera data to adjust suspension settings in real time, predicting road conditions 0.5 seconds in advance.
The U7 also features BYD’s top-tier “God’s Eye A” smart driving system, powered by DiPilot 600, which includes three LiDARs and two Nvidia Drive Orin-X chips with a total computing power of 508 TOPS. The vehicle will be delivered with urban Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) functionality.

It supports ultra-fast charging, replenishing 30% to 80% of its battery in 20 minutes with a peak power of up to 500 kW. The PHEV version features a 52.4-kWh battery and a total driving range of up to 1,000 kilometers.
Yangwang, launched by BYD in January 2023, aims to compete in China’s ultra-luxury vehicle segment. The U7 follows the brand’s U8 off-road SUV, priced at RMB 1.098 million, and the U9 electric supercar, which starts at RMB 1.68 million.
